The Best Present

My parents took me to Florida a few years ago. While I was there, I saw something that I wanted soooo badly at the store in our hotel. It was an Eeyore pillow pet. OMG! It was soooo cute. I asked for it for the first couple days, and then my parents gave me a gift- money to spend while we were there. And it was enough to buy the pillow pet. I was sooo happy, and I stayed happy the entire trip. They made me wait to buy it until the end of the day, so I was on cloud 9 the entire time we were at Animal Kingdom. I didn't stop hugging it when I was in the hotel room. It was amazing! And I still have it now, 3 years later.

Isn't it cute?

Debate Topic

In Mrs. J's class, we are working on debates. My group's topic is really controversial. Our topic is:
SHOULD BULLIES BE HELD LEGALLY RESPONSIBLE IF THE VICTIM DIES/COMMITS SUICIDE?
There are two questions there. Should the bullies be tried for murder? and Should they be punished? If you guys have any ideas, or would like to share any thoughts that we can use, please comment below! We would love to hear from you!

More Quotes

All of these quotes have something in common. Beauty and happiness can be found in everything. You just have to know where to look. :)

Why These Quotes Describe Me

This quote describes me in part because we face these choices everyday. Our choices decide every little thing about our future. Now, I'm a sort-of  believer in karma, or fate, or you get what you give, or whatever you want to call it, because it's happened to me. When I've been nice  to people or when I've done something goes, it usually comes around again, like someone makes me laugh when I have a bad day, or someone does something special for me. That is why I try to be the best me I can be, so I can do unto others the goodness and kindness that people have shown me. Keep the paradox going, you know?

This quote defines who I am almost to the core because there are some things in life that I love to leave to chance, but there are other things that  do my best to change. For example, I don't mind leaving the finding of my soul mate, or even my outfit to chance, because I know that they're out there somewhere, and that I'll find them eventually, and because I know that I have a good enough fashion sense to put together an entire outfit in about 5 minutes, just looking at my closet( yes, I am that talented :).
But, picking my friends, and making special memories, that I have to have a hand in. It's hard to make friends on accident, and you might meet people who you absolutely want to hang out with, and some you might not want to. You have to decide what's right for you. Some of the best moments happen, because you choose to enjoy them for what they are- a chance happening that turned out to be wonderful. By spending time with those you love and care about, you can make more of those wonderful moments happen. ( ok...maybe still chance, but you chose to hang with those friends, right?)

What I'm Thankful For

Since this is around the Thanksgiving time, I thought I'd post about what I'm thankful for.
In RTI( homeroom), and Spanish at school, my teachers- Mr. A!, and Mrs. C.!- have been telling us more and more about the benefits of being thankful, and kind. And part of that is to write letters of gratitude to the people you have met that have had a memorable impact on you. Doing random acts of kindness can have a huge impact on people, and yourself! It'll make them feel good, and you, too! Any small act of kindness will do, and it is never wasted.
I am so thankful for my family, especially in these past few months, since we've been so busy with our 8th grade play production. All of our hard work has finally paid off! Hallelujah! They have committed so much time and effort, and I'm so grateful. Thank you so much, from the Hag!
I'm also thankful for my friends. Without them, I don't know how I'd survive middle school! Thanks soooo much!!
I'm also thankful that America is the land of the free. My dream is to open a bookstore in Paris, France(or America....I just want to go to Paris :), and being in America can help me do that.
I'm also thankful that I have words. I know that's weird, but it's true. I aspire to be an author, and I can't do that without words. They are all around you, and you just have to put them together, and bam! you have a story. It's probably also why this is pretty long.......

We all have a lot to be thankful for. What do you have? Post a comment. I'd like to hear about it! And tell your friends. Maybe they'd like this, too!
     Ciao for now!
